Our Business Philosophy is to Give Back

Reflecting on the incredible success the Company has had over 45 years in restaurant operations, Larry Cimmarusti notes, “It is very important to give back to our community.” The brothers remember fondly their roots in Simi Valley, where they opened one of their first Burger King restaurants, and were key contributors to the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library. The Cimmarustis helped cater the opening ceremony event for the Library, serving meals to the five U.S. Presidents in attendance. The names of Lawrence and Ralph Cimmarusti appear proudly engraved in one of the more prominent locations at the library.

Today, the brothers remain active in aiding and supporting law enforcement. Many of their family members were LAPD officers and the brothers have continued a tradition of commitment by donating approximately one million dollars to the families of police officers killed in the line of duty. The Los Angeles Police Memorial Foundation, as well as the Gil Garcetti's Rescue Youth Program, also enjoy their support.
